The Opportunity
We are expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our team in Nigeria as Specialist, Management Reporting.
The Specialist, Management Reporting will be responsible for analyzing financial information as well as current and past trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting variances and drawing insights to facilitate management decision-making
Key Responsibilities
Analyze complex financial information and reports (including areas of revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenditures) to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to support management decision-making.
Perform monthly analyses of primary financial statements (statement of financial position, statement of profit or loss and statement of cashflow) to compare with forecasts and annual budgets.
Analyze current and past KPI trends, highlighting issues and causes of unexpected variances.
Assist the Budget & Forecast team in preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and other strategic plans of the company.
Act as Finance Business Partner to relevant/ assigned stakeholders.
Assist in preparing reports for board and shareholder meetings, monthly management review meetings, and various strategic committees of the organization.
Upload and analyze financial and non-financial information on required financial systems.
Assist in developing performance measures that are aligned with the core business KPIs.
Monitor performance on a routine basis through regular interface with stakeholders.
Prepare ad-hoc reports as required.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Manager, Management Reporting.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
5 years’ relevant work experience.
