Job Title: Sales Development Manager (Medical)

Role Overview

As our Sales Development Manager, you will be a key leader in our commercial team with the goal of driving sales and partnership initiatives to drive growth of Zest within the health and medical ecosystem in Nigeria. You will be responsible for generating, nurturing and closing high quality healthcare leads.
These leads comprise of mostly Insurance providers (private and public) and hospitals (primary, secondary, tertiary).
You will also play an integral part in building and laying the foundation (strategy & execution) of the sales part of the commercial team.
The ideal candidate will be determined and have strong communication and negotiation skills.
You will also need to be able to create and strategically execute business strategies.

Key Performance indicators (KPIs)

Development and closing of new business deals with clients (hospitals, clinics, insurance providers, labs, and pharmacies)
Increase in revenue due to the establishment of new business deals and effective client management

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Hospitals and Clinics Acquisitions:

Explore and Identify potential clients / partners within the medical sector
Liaise with and persuade targeted hospitals and clinics to use our product utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
Research client requirements by communicating with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
Assess clients needs, determine product fit, and communicate the product value proposition to meet client’s goals and objectives
Negotiate and finalize technical and commercial terms for possible deals with clients

Health Insurance Provider Partnerships:

Explore and develop a business plan / strategy to create partnerships with health insurance companies
Pitch Zest programs to insurance companies by effectively selling the programs to and performing cost-benefit analysis for these health insurance companies

Pharmacies and Lab Partnerships:

Develop business partnerships with labs and pharmacies to provide Zest users with affordable lab and pharmacy products.

Other Revenue Opportunities:

Identify and build other growth opportunities for Zest within the medical sector
Attend seminars and conferences in order to find potential partners and clients

Core Requirements

5+ years experience as a B2B business development manager, sales executive, marketing manager, or background in medicine (Doctor, Pharmacist, etc) with the necessary sales experience is acceptable.
Sales experience involving sales to commercial MedTech organizations or experience working for MedTech organizations with proven business development and solution sales management experience.
Proven track record in executing complex deals
Proven ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships with clients.
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

What We Offer

Negotiable gross monthly salary between 400,000 – 500,000 + commission (Negotiable based on experience)
