Job Summary

Our client is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for software quality assurance within the Digital Team.
In this role, he/she will be working directly with the product and software development teams in managing key products.

Primary Responsibilities

Document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to understand product goal and identify system requirements
Participate actively in Unit, Integration, API, and Regression testing
Write test cases for each user journey Schedule automated tests to run periodically, monitor test results, analyze failures, and report issues.
Document test cases, corresponding results, and defects
Review defect feedback for testing improvements
Identify test scenario for automation
Write and integrate automated REST API, Browser based tests.
Carry out Performance / Load / Stress and Security Testing
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs and monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum of 2nd class lower in first degree (Professional Qualifications is an advantage).
2 – 3 years Software Testing experience.
Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices.
Good background in ICT industry, consulting, and business advisory.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Demonstrable work experience in software development
Demonstrable work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Good experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands on experience with automated testing tools
Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Exacting attention to detail, picking up on the details that others miss
Intellectually curious
