TeamAce Limited – Our client, a top Tier Restaurant in the hospitality industry, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Work closely with various departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
Recruit staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting,interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
Periodic update of staff handbooks.
Administer payroll and maintain employee records and statutory benefits.
Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
Develop HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Develop training and development needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Maintain employee records (attendance, staff data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance Competencies.
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc in Business Administration or any related field of study.
3-5 years of experience in similar industry.
Remuneration
N230,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
