Machine Nationwide Limited is an Automotive Spare-parts Company. We are an independent entity of the Chisco Group, primarily for the purpose of leveraging the automotive spare parts industry to deliver quality spart parts to the Automotive market.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head of Operations
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (On-site)
Job type: Full-time
The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures.


Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
Trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all Machine Nationwide operations staff.
Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
Maintains a balanced inventory.
Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate enough gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.
Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
Ensures that all parts are properly tagged so that the company recovers full credit.
Supervises stock order procedures.
Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
Ensures that the same high-quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal customers.
Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.
Coordinates a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork.
Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.
Develops sales promotions.
Takes advantage of all manufacturers' inventory co-op advertising.
Develops, enforces and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the company's guidelines.
Ensures that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.
Assists in the collection of past-due accounts.
Supervises custodians to ensure that work area is kept clean.
Enforces safety requirements
Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
Other duties as assigned.


First Degree in a relevant discipline; MSc / MBA is a plus
Must have 5-7 years’ experience in logistics and automotive industry.
Have at least four (4) years’ experience in similar role.
Understand the market prices, customer relations, etc.
Possess good mathematical skills. Accounting skills is an added advantage.
Should have management and leadership skills.
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
