We supply engineers and consultants to our clients' projects and operations, and perform employment outsourcing services such as workforce management in oil and gas regions around the world. WTS Energy operates globally with offices in 14 countries and is operational in over 50 countries.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head, Business Development (Oil & Gas or Power)
Location: Lagos (On-site)

About the Job
Purpose Statement:

To provide exemplary business support whilst adding value to the company's project and general business operations.

Key Deliverables:

Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
Undertaking market research and analysis and producing business plans/recommendations (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimized.
Renewal of all operating licenses /permits.
Liaise with statutory and government bodies for explicit purposes when certain permit and licenses are required, and also ensure depot operations are not hindered due to regulatory constraints.
Monitor and provide supervision for the Ghana and Nigerian Business Development related issues
Relationship Management with all existing customers, prospective customers, governmental agencies/bodies and other stakeholders (internal & external).
Business Report writing.

Minimum Qualification / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Management Science. An MBA will an added advantage.
7 years of experience in oil and gas industries or power sector, having held a mid-management position for at least 3 years.
