A Food Safety Analyst is responsible for enforcing food safety policies using the Hilton standard and ISO/FSSC 22000 standard.
What Will I Be Doing?
As a Food Safety Analyst, you will be responsible for enforcing food safety policies using the Hilton standard and ISO/FSSC 22000 standard.
A Food Safety Analyst will also be required to follow up food poisoning allegation reports from Guest and Team Members using Hilton standard.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Enforce food safety policies using the Hilton standard and ISO/FSSC 22000 standard.
Follow up food poisoning allegation reports from Guest and Team Members using Hilton standard.
Training and re-training of food safety Team Members and food handlers using Hilton training guide.
Monitor food preparation procedures and hygiene food preparation and display areas.
Inspect grooming of food handlers as scheduled daily and ensure it conforms to Hilton grooming standards.
Monitor personal hygiene of food handlers at all food preparation areas which includes kitchen, bars and restaurants and ensure it conforms to food safety standards.
Daily audit and records of food preparation areas, storage, receiving, bars, restaurants, equipment and its environment.
Verification of food temperatures at high risk kitchens, buffet displays at banquet events and bukka restaurants.
Monitor and verify cleaning and cleaning procedures using swab techniques, flag all non-conformances, proffer immediate corrections and record all observations.
Monitor, audit and record observations on CCPs of high risk kitchens with food safety guidelines.
Flag all expiry products at storage points (Cold storage), dry stores and food usage areas and recall.
Report current areas of improvement and pest control related issues.
A Food Safety Analyst serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Minimum of HND in related field
Good communication skills and people skills
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure
Experience in Health and Safety Management
Hospitality industry experience.
