We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance and Admin Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Summary

Ensure an effective system for invoice verification, in such a way that payments are processes on time, in agreed amounts and terms of payment in order to achieve the cost effectiveness and good relationship with suppliers while respecting sound principles of internal controls.
Ensure expenses are recorded in the financial period ito which they relate to ultimately ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statement in line with PM chart of accounts.
Ensure Finance as a service department is responsive to overall business needs.

Responsibilities

Reconciliation of unvouchered accounts
Verification of invoices for payments in line with invoice guidelines
Monthly analysis and preparing of designated G & A and other GL accounts accruals with sufficient support documents
Preparing of balance sheet and expense account reconcilation for designated accounts
Ensure proper filing of Finance documents for Tax and Audit purposes
Manage, develop and adapt activities of the fleet including, vehicle replacement, monthly running cost analysis, servicing & maintenance, accident management, insurance, vehicle rentals, licensing, fuel, fiscal compliance, vehicle monitoring & tracking and traffic fine management. Implement fleet management principles and practices and support Fleet Safety Committee with fleet safety, driver certification and training, which fully respect corporate as well as legal requirements in order to provide a safe working requirement and, through this, reduce accidents. Escalate issues for improvement on fleet activities and performance to management
Creation of Purchase Orders and completion of GRN for Finance, Tax and Audit vendors
Arrange meetings, book facilities and prepare agenda with agreed timescales
Manage and coordinate mobile communication activities for the organization and evaluate service levels from service provider and provide input for business strategy development.Escalate issues for improvement Or usage not in accordance to mobile phone policy to management.

Requirements

BSc, HND, MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and related field
At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Account and related experience
Must be 35 years and below
Must know how to use any accounting software.
