Job Title: ESB Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily Operations, Administration & Maintenance fOAM) support of Tibco ESE middleware.
Responsible for deploying and supporting middleware applications using Tibco products.
Deploy, Administer. Support and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces,
Responsible for the installation, maintenance nci configuration of Tibco products including Tibco Hawk, Tibco Business Works, Tibco Administrator, Tibco Adapters, EMS, Tibco Designer and Tibce 8PM.
Perform Tibco ESB system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to CRM, Billing, UNIX, Linux, Windows and Application support.
Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to Tibco applications.
Assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through standard tools.
Identify best practices and collaborate with development and architecture teams to implement highly available and fault tolerant configurations.
Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required. Increase staff skill levels by cross training.
Establish proper monitoring of the various applications by configuring appropriate rules.
Establish scripted and automated processes for deployments and configuration changes.
Experience with installation, configuration and administration of Tibco Enterprise Service Bus mandatory.
Ability to manage multiple priorities that continually change.
Experience with other middleware technologies such as MQ, Websphere Application server, Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS and Webiogic a plus.
Have a good understanding of enterprise business applications
Resolve all issues with business applications
Liaise with vendor on technical issues regarding customer care/call centre applications
Responsible for application software upgrades and patches
Ensure agreed OLA/SLA5 are maintained with internal customers
Responsible for assisting with the development of processes and procedures and ensure they are adhered to
Contribute to organization's quality processes and strive to achieve continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Computer Science / Engineering, or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Statistics, Management Information Systems or any physical sciences with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper
7+ years Tibco ESB, Tibco BPM, Tibco Hawk, Tibco IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Message Queing, Application Server, Enterprise Content Manager and Tomcat
5+ years’ experience of the full software development lifecycle.
Should have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience.
Should have strong database administration experience
Experience with middleware administration in a large enterprise environment.
Good experience supporting enterprise applications. Interfacing with 3rd party applications like Siebel CRM, Telco Billing Systems, Provisioning platforms.
Conversant with telecom business operations and trends in the
telecommunication industry
Good experience supporting critical business applications.
