APIN Public Health Initiatives Limited / Gte – Our client, SH:24 is an award winning, UK based online sexual health service. SH:24 makes it easier for people to access sexual and reproductive health care. The service is quick, discreet and completely confidential and designed to be flexible around the needs of users, empowering people to take control of their own sexual health.
SH:24 has led the way in online sexual health service innovation in Europe and is setting up a pilot online HIV self-testing service as part of the Global Fund Differentiated Service Delivery Strategic Initiative in Nigeria in partnership with APIN Public Health Initiatives.
The pilot service in Nigeria will offer sexual health and HIV information and advice via Whatsapp and SMS with signposting to local services as required or products including HIV self-tests, and potentially PrEP/ART, delivered to the user by courier. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the start of an innovative service by providing expert clinical advice to users of this service.

The Role
We are looking for someone who shares our vision for a healthier nation, is hardworking, reliable and committed.
They will form an important part of the SH:24 team, ensuring users of the service receive their HIV testing kits rapidly.
To be responsible for fulfilling orders for STI kits made via the SH:24 website – assembling, distributing and posting them to users.
They will ensure that orders are dealt with accurately and processed and dispatched to users on a prompt basis.
Responsibilities
Specifically the role seeks to perform the following:
Logistics duties:
Access the SH:24 administration system and identify new orders for HIV self-test kits
Use pre-filled information to print order forms
Assemble designated HIV Self-test kits based on the information provided on the order form
Pack HIV self-test kits, and order into outbound envelopes
Label outbound envelopes
Post completed orders via courier solution
Record when orders have been packaged and dispatched on the SH:24 administration system
Pre-pack/prepare HIV self-test kits to maintain stock levels
Flag any stock shortages to the SH:24 project manager
Work with the SH:24 Project manager to identify improvements to the distribution process that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the service
Conduct stock counts, ensuring consumables and kits are available
Test kit batch management
Review SOPs and processes
Explore and help implement continual optimisations for the service and ways of working
Ensure Health & Safety measures are followed on site, and risk assessments are conducted where necessary
Perform other tasks related to this role as may be assigned by the Project Manager
What We Need From You
Essential Education / Qualifications / Training:
Minimum of High National Diploma (HND) education preferably in Administration or Logistic / Purchasing and Supply.
Experience working in HIV / sexual health care or sexual health education and outreach is a plus.
Experience:
Experience of distribution, logistics, stock management is a plus.
Experience in office management is a plus.
Essential Knowledge / Skills:
Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Excellent communication skills face-to-face, on the telephone and via WhatsApp / SMS.
Other Essential traits:
Willingness to work collaboratively with the SH:24 project team
Willingness to work during weekends and holidays (when necessary)
Experience of successfully working in fast paced environments and the ability to work quickly
Trustworthy, discrete and highly conscious of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of personal information
Acute awareness of information security issues and willing to comply with security requirements (such as never divulging passwords)
Very strong attention to detail and listens carefully
IT literate/competent – able to learn how to use new systems
Office experience is preferable
Intelligent and willing to share ideas on how practice and processes could be improved
A reliable and respectful team player with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with teammates to complete the task at hand.
