Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive based in Lagos, to improve market visibility via identifying and closing commercial opportunities, building and managing customer relationships, generating and exceeding targeted revenues.
Duties / Responsibilities
Ensure the Lagos territory capitalize on all sales channels to meet, grow and exceed revenue targets sustainably
Plan overall team itinerary in collaboration with other team members to ensure adequate coverage of all trade accounts in a month
Implement the territorial expansion objective as required for growth and profitability
Oversee and manage all order fulfilment from end to end, ensuring all requisite sale templates, invoices are populated in due time online and offline.
Monitoring, tracking and reporting on set business target for the team. Reports should be collated timely as requested. This entails all trade accounts’ monthly sales report needed to monitor progress on set departmental goals
Provide accurate financial and accounting information on sales and contribute to the preparation of sales budgets, reports and forecasts
Manage existing relationships across all Trade Partners/Stores
Ensure adherence to all sales processes, procedures and policies
Monitor product aging in all stores to mitigate expiry risk, making sure product returns and retrievals are kept to the barest minimum and in line with company policies
Oversee optimization of all trade accounts to ensure product visibility and elimination of stock-outs
Ensure entire product range is represented across all trade account channels
Ensure all tool of trade are available for team to operate, if otherwise prompt escalation.
Trade Account Acquisitions:
Establish new trade accounts via Lead generation, prospecting, corporate deals, collaborations, partnership etc.
Supervise the record keeping of sales and product samples given out.
Client Relationship Management:
Grow and manage existing customers across all channels
Build and manage clientele base by constantly engaging ReelFruit’s customers.
Collate feedback from clients and produce analytical information to drive sales and impact product development.
Work collaboratively with every member of the sales team within and outside your territory.
Foster conducive working environment for team members
Resolve conflicts as they arise
Train, mentor and manage subordinates.
Business Process Improvement:
Prompt capture of all sales transactions on the accounting software.
Prompt resolution of operational matters.
Educational Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum of B.Sc / BA / HND in Marketing, Business Administration or any relevant field.
Minimum of 4 years of Retail Sales experience in FMCG with good market knowledge.
Must be target driven.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Leadership qualities (ability to lead/coach).
